As part of a strong team you consult a variety of banks and insurance companies in helping them to master a new business reality where firms reform their business model as well as legal and organizational structure in order to respond to regulatory requirements but simultaneously stay focused on providing high class services while pursuing opportunities for profitable growth. Emergency plans have to be drawn up and constantly reviewed in response to regulatory requirements. For their part, the regulatory authorities need to be provided with proof of the feasibility of these plans and that financial institutions are in a position to implement them. In addition, striking a healthy balance between regulatory resolution planning and orientating the global firm structure for optimal service provisioning and profiting from emerging growth opportunities will be a key element in adding value to the clients. You will view collaboration with international financial institutions together with periods of travel as job enrichment.
The successful candidate should be an energetic person with a sound education and relevant working experience in either one of the following institutions: G-SIFI bank, regulator such as FINMA, FED, PRA/BOE or consulting firm. Candidates with a background in banking liquidity management coupled with regulation know-how are also welcomed. Good communication and conceptual skills, leadership potential, high quality standards, an enquiring mind as well as a positive, hands-on attitude are essential.
