Head of Sales Asia

The successful candidate will be responsible for raising money from and closing advisory mandates with demanding professional clients. This includes all kind of marketing, prospecting, developing and servicing aspects as well as extensive travelling within Asia. You and your team do not only know, read and identify the expectations of the sophisticated client base, but will fulfil and exceed them. You have a well established network in the industry, you know the key players in the community; institutional investors, external fund managers, independent asset managers, banks, fund distributors and consultants. By combining the comprehensive knowledge of how the target clients work, their mechanisms, decision processes and hierarchies you will successfully build and expand the business with institutional investors. Delivering compelling presentations at client events and the organization of road shows are other key activities.

We are looking for a personality with a sound education (e.g. university, MBA) and substantial experience in a similar position. Core requirements are a distinct client and consultant orientation, a thorough understanding of how the target clients take major long-term investment decisions, your compelling network on very senior levels, leadership- and process-management skills as well as fluency in English. Local languages are a plus while a track record of success in an international environment, a high level of communication skills, flexibility and the ability to close business deals are additional requirements.
