Director Marketing Management Ophthalmology

In this position you will head a department with proven marketing and graphic design specialists. The areas to be developed are multichannel marketing, KOL management, branding, graphics and convention events. In close cooperation with your supervisor, you will manage the implementation of the company’s global marketing strategy. In order for this to succeed, it is essential that you coordinate your activities with your colleagues from product management and sales. The booming ophthalmology market and the dynamics of an independent, medium-sized company require a goal-oriented approach. You will report directly to the VP Marketing & Sales and thus have close contact with the management. The latter will greatly appreciate your input into the overall development of the company.
 
Your tasks 
  • Developing the global marketing strategy with corresponding concepts for implementation
  • Standardizing and improving marketing activities 
  • Planning sales promotion measures (trade conventions, print, web, KOL management)
  • Creating corresponding market analyses and trends
  • Supporting the worldwide distribution partners
  • Further developing performance in marketing management, branding and PR
  • Team leadership based on level-appropriate coaching
Your profile 

  • Business administration with a focus on marketing
  • Several years of experience in the international marketing of capital goods
  • Knowledge of medical technology or ophthalmology would be an advantage
  • Conceptual and analytical skills to develop the marketing strategy
  • Implementation qualities with a focus on international markets
  • High-level social skills with proven experience in team leadership
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Business-fluent in German and English
  • Willingness to travel in the range of 10 to 20 percent of your working time
 
You have a degree in business administration as well as further training in marketing, and have already successfully managed a group or department of marketing specialists in the context of your previous professional activities. You are communicative and performance-oriented and look forward to developing your creative energy within a dynamic company.
