The successful candidate will have a sound education and several years of relevant experience, preferably in banking or consultancy. Core requirements include absolute reliability and integrity, a discreet personality as well as high standards of accuracy and delivery and strong project management skills. The ideal candidate is a flexible individual with a can-do attitude, seeking for continuous service improvement. With good communication and coordination skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines, he/she will be able to convince professionals at all levels. Proficient use of MS Office as well as fluency in English and German are essential.
The role will work closely with the Head of Compensation to plan and manage the annual compensation review, deliver other compensation processes and contribute to ad hoc compensation and other projects. The annual review will involve the preparation of the annual review timetable, coordination with overseas offices to validate employee data, close liaison with the business to prepare compensation recommendations and bonus modelling for each business and the production of compensation schedules for the business and the Remuneration Committee. The role will also have responsibility for managing the compensation database including ongoing records of bonus awards and eligibility for deferred payments. It will provide market data for all areas of wealth management from survey providers and undertake ad hoc compensation analysis.
