In this demanding role you will be responsible for broadly based tax and related services, from client tax issues to authority tax reporting. Beside strategic projects and decision taking you will handle and prioritise together with a small team the daily business, a wide spread of client tax issues including the production of domestic tax statements for Swiss and other international clients as well as generic tax statements for all other clients. You will ensure the correct implementation of worldwide withholding tax rates. You will also be responsible for QI tax authority reportings, EU tax disclosure as well as reconciliation and payment of withheld EU tax to ESTV. In addition and in close cooperation with legal and compliance department you will take care of the reporting and disclosure requirements as necessary for FATCA, the certification of client tax status to custodians, final withholding tax authorities reporting and Swiss stamp tax reporting, Swiss VAT, etc.
The successful candidate will have a sound education, extensive hands-on experience in a tax environment and in-depth securities expertise. Core requirements include comprehensive knowledge of tax issues and reporting experience as well as high standards of accuracy and timely delivery. The ideal candidate is a forward thinking, flexible and agile individual with a “can-do” attitude, capable of managing conflicting priorities and high stakeholder expectations and finally seeking for continuous process improvements. Your outstanding communication skills will enable you to build confidence and convince professionals at all levels. Fluency in English and German is essential.
